The Role

Reporting to the Head of AV, the Candidate will have the following responsibilities:

  • Create video content advertising and promoting IFD Services and Culture
  • Create custom 2D and vector animations
  • Experience with 3D application would be an advantage
  • Work with clients to understand their problems and design solutions
  • Conceptualise original video content
  • Lead the design and creation of storyboards for product and marketing storytelling
  • Collaborate with internal teams and clients
  • Multitask and work effectively under changing priorities, heavy deadlines, and daily time constraints
  • Innovate new motion ideas and solutions
  • Deliver cycle updates for IFD’s existing client base across multiple services
  • Develop proposals and deliver projects for existing and new clients
  • Executing a project from brief through to production and delivery to the highest possible standard
  • Working as part of a team to explore briefs and generate ideas
  • Assist Inflight Dublin’s video department with the ingesting, editing and encoding/transcoding of video content

 

The Candidate

  • Experience with Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Experience with 3D applications would be an advantage
  • Storyboarding and animatics for Motion
  • Have strong technical knowledge of the post production process
  • Design-trained to understand typography, movement and layout
  • Experience conceptualizing and executing original video content
  • Strong organisational skills, most importantly file management and methodical workflow
  • Ability to interpret a brief and communicate internally
  • Experience in working to very tight deadlines
  • Experience working with brand guidelines and translating them for video use
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at one time
  • Excellent eye for detail
