Supply Chain Coordinator

Job description

The Supply Chain Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and on-time delivery of Movie, TV and other multimedia files.

The Supply Chain Coordinator will work closely with distributors and suppliers of Hollywood, TV and International content to ensure delivery of these files.

You are expected to manage and prioritise your workload, and understand the importance of delivery timelines whilst maintaining total accuracy in terms of delivered materials.

The candidate must be able to communicate effectively and clearly, work well in a team and is highly organised. The candidate must be willing to work flexible hours, upon occasion.


Reporting to the Senior Supply Chain Coordinator and Content Acquisitions Manager, the Candidate will have the following responsibilities:

Inbound Media:

· Manage the inward flow of media

· Follow up with distributors re: delivery of digital files & materials

· QC files, log & label files

· Maintain good relationships with all distributors

· Liaise closely with Account Managers, Video & Content Acquisitions Team

· Effectively report, communicate and address any issues with files – such as delays or inaccurate materials – with clarity and efficiency

Hollywood Media:

· Work closely with Hollywood labs to ensure the accurate and on-time delivery of Hollywood content

· Maintain good relationships with all labs

· Communicate any issues, such as delays, to key stakeholders

· Ensure 100% file delivery in line with deadlines

· Ensure urgent resends are prioritised post-deadline where quality issues have been flagged

· Input data on Loadsheets that will be sent to labs with requested materials

· Assist with related administrative tasks where required, such as order inputting, content research and QCs

Training will be provided on the above items.

The Candidate

· Must be a problem-solver and be proactive

· Excellent communicator focused on providing up-to-date information’

· Highly organised with a strong attention to detail

· Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel & Outlook

· Comfortable in a deadline-oriented environment

· Ability to develop (and grow) relationships with suppliers & labs

· Knowledge of the post-production process is not essential, but would be an advantage (such as file encodes)

· Good team player who is prepared to make an extra effort to help his/her colleagues
