Privilege Style has agreed a 5 year contract with Inflight Dublin for the provision of its Everhub™ wireless IFE software and content.

The partnership with Inflight Dublin will significantly enhance Privilege Style’s passenger experience with an extensive selection of the most recent and innovative content available. The content inventory will include something for every passenger with Hollywood blockbusters, Hollywood classics, TV show episodes, and kids programmes available to passengers.

Inflight Dublin’s wireless solution Everhub™ will provide a fully customizable software platform that will reflect Privilege Style’s brand and GUI design requirements. Everhub™ is equipped with Hollywood approved DRM for Early Window movies and is compatible with all Android, iOS and Windows devices. Other features will include a moving map. The wireless IFE software and content provided by Inflight Dublin will be available across Privilege Style’s entire fleet.

Inflight Dublin debuted the next generation Everhub™ Portable Wireless server at APEX Expo 2019, while exhibiting amongst the top industry specialists. 

The state-of-the-art hardware was on display for airline and industry representatives alike to experience first hand its unique design which features a touch screen, user-friendly control panel.

The debut was recognised by several of the top aviation media outlets, including the APEX Expo Daily magazine, which is handed out each day of the Expo.

The front cover feature was present in the Day 2 version of the publication, including an interview with Inflight Dublin’s CEO, John White, who discusses the innovative capabilities and features of the new hardware. 

The server can be powered by batteries or directly from the aircraft. It delivers secure, high definition, browser-based DRM content to 75 passengers per unit. The Everhub™ portable server minimises logistics costs through its hot-swappable battery configuration and remote loading of content.

Inflight Dublin has been awarded a 3 year contract for the provision of IFE content by Scandinavian Airlines System (SAS), Scandinavia’s leading airline. The first cycle of content provided by Inflight Dublin will commence in January 2020.

An inventory of content including movies, TV shows, music albums and games will be provided by Inflight Dublin. Locally produced and International movies and TV shows will be incorporated into this selection, chosen specifically to cater to the airlines’ audience. A next generation microsite created and managed by Inflight Dublin’s in-house Design and Software teams will also be provided. The microsite will enable passengers to browse the current entertainment, watch trailers and engage with SAS’s IFE offering. The platform is dynamic, enabling content to be seamlessly viewed on mobile, tablet and PC devices. 

SAS operates a fleet of 169 aircraft to 123 global destinations, with hubs in Copenhagen, Oslo and Stockholm. The inflight entertainment seatback system will be available on all long-haul flights to Asia and the US.

Inflight Dublin is a global provider of IFE content and wireless solutions with over 35 years’ experience within the industry. This latest announcement coincides with the launch of their next generation Everhub™ portable wireless server to be debuted at APEX Expo in September 2019.

Inflight Dublin has been awarded the contract to provide wireless inflight entertainment for a number of Loftleidir Icelandic’s fleet. Loftleidir Icelandic is a subsidiary of Icelandair Group, and has been receiving IFE content from Inflight Dublin since 2018.

Inflight Dublin will be providing its all-in-one wireless IFE solution, Everhub™, across a number of Loftleidir Icelandic’s fleet allowing for an enhanced on board experience for its charter clients. The deal sees Inflight Dublin provide a wireless solution consisting of hardware, software and content provision. Loftleidir Icelandic has received premium content from Inflight Dublin for the last two years, and is now expanding its IFE to its charter clients. The Everhub™ software will have a flexible, customized, interface which will tailor to each clients brand and design requirements.

Loftleidir Icelandic’s fleet operates under the Icelandair operator certificates and on leasing contracts under Aircraft-Maintenance conditions to other airlines. Its services include Full Charter, VIP Charter, wet-lease and dry-lease operations.

Every summer, our dedicated Social Committee organises a fun, team-bonding activity for all our staff at Inflight Dublin.

This year’s activity was Painting and Prosecco at The Jar in Dublin city centre! 

The image provided for everyone to replicate was a silhouette shot from The Lion King, to celebrate the newly released live-action remake of the classic. 

A Painting and Prosecco artist went around the room and guided everyone through each stage of the painting process as can be seen above.

Skytrax is an independent customer forum which has become a leading review site for airline, airport and associated air travel traveller reviews. It is recognised for its Airline and Airport Star Rating, the World Airline Awards and Airport Awards. 

The World Airline Awards have taken place annually since 1999, following the launch of Skytrax’s airline customer satisfaction survey. Among this year’s winners are many of our own clients, which we are thrilled about. 

The awards are divided into categories ranging from staff and cabin crew, to cabin classes and value for money. The survey submissions are free of charge and the 2019 awards received 21.65 million eligible survey entries which contributed to the final results.
